You can have the greatest business model in the world, the best customer service, and a perfect product however that won’t do you a bit of good when advertising on Facebook.

Yes, Meta is different, but don’t worry—no magic or Harvard degree is required. Anybody can learn how to do this, even if you've never run a Facebook ad before.

If you're ready to discover how to join the winning 3% who repeatedly reach their perfect customers, keep reading.

Starting out

The vast majority of businesses often turn to paying for Facebook ads to help grow their business and many conclude that it simply doesn’t work for their industry.

So, they resort to posting random content, hoping their ideal customer will just stumble upon their page.

What they don't realize is that Facebook won't share any promotional content unless you pay for it.

However, if done correctly you'll become obsessed with multiplying every dollar you spend on ads, turning one into two, three, or four.

Let me start by giving you Three Golden Rules of Facebook Advertising

Give Before You Ask

I want you to think of Facebook not as a shopping mall like Google is, but as a cocktail party where people hang out. Most people do not log in to Facebook with the intention of making a purchase.

They're not there to shop, they're there to hang out. Imagine you're at a cocktail party and someone comes right up to you and starts trying to sell you insurance, they're annoying and you don't want to talk to them.

When you approach Facebook with the intent to get something, rather than to give

your audience something they value, you will lose.

To win you must add value first, build the rapport/relationship, then eventually ask for the order

Don’t Hit That “Boost” Button

If you already have, it's okay the majority of people have, but don't hit that boost post button again.

I applaud their commerce but you have to understand Facebook created this because they want you to spend money with them.

Facebook understands that their ad manager is complicated if you have never used it before it feels like you're assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions, trying to make sense of all the pieces.

This is why they made a super easy button that you can click and like magic your impressions go up.

This leads me to my next point.

We Are Not After Impressions

Don't go after likes. Don't go after comments. Don't go after shares.

The ultimate goal of your ad should be to get them off of social media as quickly as possible because, on Facebook, there are endless distractions they want to get back to.

You want to put them in a place where all they can see is your page and leave them with three options
